Sooner or later, most of us have to visit the dentist, either because our conscience pricks us that it's about time we had a check-up, or we have a slight nagging pain somewhere, or perhaps we want to improve the appearance of our teeth and are considering cosmetic treatment.
London dentists are some of the best in the world, undergoing lengthy training like a doctor, and when they finally enter practice, have a lot of expenses to face. Overheads are especially high in London because property rents and rates are very high, as are also wages for trained support staff.
There is little chance of finding a National Health service dentist in London nowadays because remuneration is pegged by the government, and generally insufficient. (more...)
